UK Motor insurers may be reluctant to insure Ronaldo
NEWS - The Manchester United player may struggle to
get his replacement Ferrari insured

Today the Claims Management Magazine
published a story about Cristiano Ronaldo and the
problems he is likely to encounter when he tries to
insure his next super car.
Ronaldo lost control of his
Ferrari 599 GTB in a tunnel close to Manchester
Airport. No other drivers or vehicles were involved in
the car accident - luckily and the man himself
remarkably walked away unhurt.
The Ferrari was written
off and will no doubt be subject to a seriously high
value motor
insurance claim.
According to some observers he is
unlikely to have many takers for his particular business
with most of the top insurers stating he was not their
"ideal customer"
One broker was sourced as
saying that premiums of £40,000+ would not be unusual
for a 25 year old driving a similar car. As Ronaldo is
under 25 and has a chequered history, he may end up
paying £100,000 as a motor insurance premium.
The mind
boggles with figures like these but it probably helps
when you are on a reported £100,000 per week!
