NHS Equal pay claims - know your rights

Low wage claims for NHS worker

There are approximately 1.2 million people working in the UK healthcare system.

This astonishing number is even more pronounced when you consider that the majority actually work for the NHS

If you work for the NHS particularly in a low paid and unqualified capacity, you may be entitled to make claim equal wage and low pay compensation. Thousands of ancillary staff are potentially able to obtain an award If you feel you might have a case - please contact us immediately for a free consultation.

Ideally, in order to lodge a claim, you would need to still be employed by the NHS or have left within the last 6 months.   This does not necessarily mean the termination of your employment.   For example, you may be given new contractual terms during the course of your employment.

The time limit will then be six months from the termination of your old contractual terms. A grievance must be lodged with the NHS Trust concerend and 28 days must be allowed to pass before a tribunal claim for Equal Pay is submitted.   NHS WORKERS COMPENSATION   The vast majority of people (around 80%) working in the health service are female.  It is a commonly held view that many female workers in so called "un-skilled" jobs, are underpaid compared with male counterparts.

Whilst the NHS in particular has done much to level the playing field in recent years, many initiatives need to be led by the Unions. As financial belts get tightened with ever increasing costs across the sector, low paid workers rights are not very high on the agenda.

We believe this is wrong and we are promoting our NHS employee claims service for this reason.

Our service is No win No fee because we make no charge if the claim is unsuccessful. We will agree a percentage of any compensation as our legal fee from the outset of the case.

Have you been underpaid?

Are you currently paid less than male counterparts fro doing the same job?

Are you a council worker or government employee who has received a poor deal?

Find out NOW whether you can raise a dispute and make a NO WIN NO FEE claim.

Contact us today for FREE advice on low pay compensation rights - we are open 7 days 8am till 8pm.   Whether you are in a UNION or not -  we can help.   We also deal with medical negligence claims against the NHS
