Case 1 - Brain Injuries - The claimant, a 48-year-old woman, received £475,000 for the severe brain injuries sustained in a road traffic accident. The claimant suffered from significant cognitive and behavioural difficulties, impaired sense of smell and taste, a complete loss of hearing in her right ear, mild loss of hearing in her left ear and moderate tinnitus. Future care was required. Out of Court Settlement 25/4/2003 

Case 2 - Tetraplegia - The claimant, a 7-year-old boy, received £1,650,000 for the severe cerebral palsy with tetraplegia sustained in a road traffic accident whilst in utero in August 1995.  High Court.18/2/2003

Case 3 - Whiplash injury -The claimant, a 51-year-old woman, received £358,389 for the severe whiplash and back injuries sustained in three road traffic accidents between February and October 1998. 

Case 4 - Fatal accident - The claimant, a 45-year-old man, was awarded £446,084 for the loss of dependency suffered as a result of his wife's death in a road traffic accident on 1 December 1991. The claimant suffered from MS and his wife had cared care for him prior to the accident. 

Case 5 - Slip & trip claim - The claimant, a 32-year-old man, received £1,625 following a trip over a hole in a pavement in September 2000. Uxbridge County Court 25/11/2002 

Case 6 - Trip injury claim - Damages of £13,500 awarded to interior designer for ankle injury following a trip over a hole in the pavement. High Court 16/3/03 

Case 7 - Back injury at work - The Claimant was awarded £86,135.96 total damages for a spinal injury suffered after a fall at the defendant employer's factory.

Case 9 - Injured in fall - Damages of £62,500 awarded to man for back injury following slip in a badly lit area.
